Job Overview

EMrecruits is currently in search of a dedicated Healthcare Front Office Specialist. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional collaboration skills, responsibility, and thrive in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhances patient experience, optimizes provider efficiency, and maximizes treatment room usage by managing appointment scheduling through various channels.
  • Greets and assists all patients and visitors, both in person and via phone.
  • Ensures patient appointments remain on track by informing providers of patient arrivals; evaluating service delivery against the schedule; and alerting providers to any delays.
  • Provides reassurance to patients by addressing their concerns; responding to inquiries; and maintaining a welcoming reception area.
  • Guarantees access to treatment information by organizing and retrieving patient records efficiently.
  • Manages patient accounts by collecting, documenting, and updating personal and financial details.
  • Secures revenue by accurately recording and updating financial data; processing patient charges; managing credit extended to patients; and handling billing collections.
  • Oversees office supplies and equipment by monitoring inventory levels; anticipating supply needs; placing orders; and confirming receipt of supplies.

Qualifications:

Candidates should possess a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a healthcare setting. Experience in family medicine is advantageous. A solid understanding of medical terminology and electronic medical records is required.
