Advanced Practice Provider Neurology Inpatient Physician

Orlando Health Medical Group is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our Neurology Inpatient Physicians team at South Lake Hospital.
About the Role:The Advanced Practice Provider will work collaboratively with a physician to provide inpatient management, consultations, and co-management of surgical patients in the acute care setting. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:- Assess patients' physical and psychosocial status through interview, health history, physical examination, and diagnostic studies.
- Develop a diagnosis and work with the interdisciplinary team to formulate and implement a treatment plan.
- Perform complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, as credentialed.
- Diagnose medical and surgical problems and prescribe necessary treatment and services for quality patient care.
- Implement appropriate management based on laboratory results, physical assessment, and diagnostic studies.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve patient care issues to improve patient outcomes.
- Dictate and document patient information in a timely and accurate manner.
- Provide patient education and maintain provision of preventive health services.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and quality initiatives to ensure consistent attainment of key quality indicators.
- Nurse Practitioner: Master's or Doctoral degree in nursing, APRN license in Florida, and national advanced certification from an approved nursing specialty board.
- Physician Assistant: Graduate of an accredited physician assistant program, licensure in Florida, and current BLS certification.
