Job Summary

As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and diagnose patients, developing treatment plans and implementing care in accordance with evidence-based medicine.
  • Perform complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, as credentialed, and prescribe necessary treatment and services for quality patient care.
  • Implement appropriate management based on laboratory results, physical assessment, routine diagnostic and follow-up studies, therapeutic measures, admission, and discharge care.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve patient care issues to foster significant improvement in patient care and outcomes.
  • Dictate and document patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Conduct or participate in multidisciplinary rounds and participate in quality initiatives to ensure consistent attainment of key quality indicators.
  • Support IRB-approved clinical research/trials through various activities, including ordering diagnostic tests, recording laboratory and diagnostic results, administering therapeutic interventions, and documenting outcomes.
Requirements
  • Nurse Practitioner: Master's or Doctoral degree in nursing, APRN license in the state of Florida, and national advanced certification from an approved nursing specialty board.
  • Physician Assistant: Graduate of an accredited physician assistant program, maintain current physician assistant licensure in the state of Florida, and maintain current BLS/healthcare certification.
