Key Responsibilities:


Collaborate with leadership to establish and implement measurable risk management goals that enhance safety performance across the organization.

Conduct regular assessments, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and identify key performance indicators.

Perform safety evaluations, inspections, and field observations within designated areas. Update safety training programs, policies, and procedures as needed. Address inquiries related to safety processes and training materials. Investigate incidents and near misses, conducting root cause analyses when necessary. Follow up on action items to ensure continuous improvement in safety processes.


Compile and analyze safety data, providing management with reports on safety activities and outcomes.

Prepare reports for organizational leadership as required. Contribute to the creation of safety newsletters and assist in managing safety awards and incentive programs. Maintain necessary OSHA recordkeeping forms.

Advise management on compliance issues and respond to inquiries from regulatory agencies as directed. Support branch safety coordinators with compliance matters at their locations. Ensure adherence to governmental recordkeeping requirements.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in safety leadership roles.
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to influence and build relationships.
Ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment, fostering partnerships at various organizational levels.
Proven ability to drive change with a positive and flexible approach.

Strategic thinker with a willingness to engage in hands-on activities.

In-depth knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record with reliable transportation.

Preferred Certifications:
Occupational Health & Safety Technologist (OHST), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), or Associate Risk Management (ARM) credentials.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to travel as needed.
Work assignments may be completed remotely or at various organizational locations.

Salary Range:
