Key Responsibilities:


- Lead the implementation of EHS programs and protocols derived from corporate directives to achieve organizational and departmental EHS goals, focusing on Safety, Regulatory Compliance, and Resource Conservation.

- Oversee the execution of relevant EHS management systems, including Corporate EHS Directives and ISO 14001 certification.

- Manage EHS reporting, ensuring compliance with performance metrics, regulatory obligations, and necessary corporate and customer reporting.

- Develop and administer an EHS training program tailored to the needs of all personnel, from entry-level employees to management.

- Coordinate an EHS corrective action program addressing audits, inspections, and incidents that necessitate corrective measures.

- Implement a resource conservation initiative focusing on energy consumption, greenhouse gas emissions, water usage, and waste management.

- Manage EHS considerations for changes involving new processes, equipment, materials, and personnel.

- Promote EHS awareness and integration across various functional areas such as Quality, Supply Chain, and Human Resources.

- Foster a culture of excellence in EHS through effective communication and collaboration.

- Supervise the EHS aspects of contractors performing work on-site.



Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in health and safety management or a related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant EHS experience
- Practical safety management experience in an industrial setting
- Knowledge of resource conservation and energy efficiency practices
- Preferred credentials and certifications in EHS
- Proven experience in standardization, continuous improvement, and project management.

Skills and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of EHS regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels
- Demonstrated capability in managing change effectively.

- Proficient in interpreting EHS requirements and translating them into actionable business strategies for clarity among team members and leaders.
