About the Role

The Assembly Operator Technician III position is a critical role on our team, requiring a skilled and detail-oriented individual to maintain our equipment and ensure efficient production runs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and optimize production runs to meet quality and efficiency standards
  • Perform quality checks and audits to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions
  • Measure and test assembly units to ensure compliance with quality plans
  • Perform preventive maintenance on Assembly machines to reduce downtime
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, cost savings, and quality enhancements
  • Participate in EH&S reviews and CI activities as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation of quality inspection results and production outcomes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Basic shop math and computer skills
  • Basic machine troubleshooting skills and ability to solve mechanical issues
  • Ability to work independently and be proactive
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data based on machine performance
  • High school diploma or GED required
Preferred Qualifications

While not required, candidates with the following skills and experience will be highly valued:

  • Ability to work independently and be proactive

  • Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks
  • Good oral and written communication skills
Physical Demands

This role requires:

  • Ability to lift and/or move 35 lbs.
  • Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on the production floor
  • Physical requirements include but are not limited to sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, carrying, pulling, pushing, stooping, crouching, color determination, and grasping
