Job Title: CMM Programmer III

At Fairbanks Morse Defense - Ward Leonard, we are seeking a highly skilled CMM Programmer III to join our team. As a key member of our quality control department, you will be responsible for programming and inspecting complex mechanical detail parts and assemblies using a Brown & Sharpe CMM.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program and perform CMM inspections of parts and assemblies
  • Develop and maintain PC DMIS programs for CMM inspection
  • Ensure that all CMM programs meet GWP and GD&T principles
  • Train others to operate the CMM
  • Support 2nd shift needs if required
  • Manage workflow in and out of the CMM to ensure efficient and accurate inspection
Requirements:
  • High School / Trade School diploma with 2 to 5 years of QC experience in an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment
  • CMM programmer experience with PC DMIS
  • First article layout experience and proficiency
  • Ability to apply GD&T to mechanical layout inspection
