About the Role

The Assembly Operator Technician III plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of our production equipment. This position is perfect for individuals looking to advance their skills and contribute to the success of our manufacturing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and optimize production runs to maintain high-quality output
  • Perform quality checks and audits to ensure compliance with quality plans
  • Measure and test assembly units to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions
  • Perform preventive maintenance on Assembly machines to reduce downtime
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, cost savings, and quality enhancements
  • Participate in EH&S reviews and assist with CI activities as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation of quality inspection results and production outcomes
  • Ensure outgoing products meet required specifications
  • Escalate identified safety, quality, and performance issues as necessary
Requirements
  • Basic shop math and computer skills
  • Basic machine troubleshooting skills and ability to solve mechanical issues
  • Ability to work independently and be proactive
  • Ability to analyze, interpret, and report data based on machine performance
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Ability to learn, grow, and adapt to changing business needs
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks
  • Good oral and written communication skills
Physical Demands
  • Ability to lift and/or move 35 lbs
  • Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on the production floor
  • Physical requirements include but are not limited to sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, carrying, pulling, pushing, stooping, crouching, color determination, and grasping
