Assembly Technician

The Assembly Operator Technician III plays a vital role in our production team, ensuring the efficient operation of our equipment and the production of high-quality dispensing products. This position requires a strong understanding of machine setup, quality control, and maintenance procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and optimize production runs to meet quality and efficiency standards
- Perform quality checks and audits to ensure compliance with quality plans
- Measure and examine assembly units to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions
- Perform preventive maintenance on Assembly machines to reduce downtime
- Identify opportunities for efficiency improvement, cost savings, and quality enhancement
- Participate in EH&S reviews and assist with CI activities as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation of quality inspection results and production outcomes
- Ensure outgoing products meet required specifications
- Escalate identified safety, quality, and performance issues as necessary
- Train and support others within the value stream
- Basic shop math and computer skills
- Basic machine troubleshooting skills and ability to solve mechanical issues
- Ability to work independently and be proactive
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and report data based on machine performance
- Minimum high school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to learn, grow, and adapt to changing business needs

The Assembly Operator Technician III must be able to lift and/or move 35 lbs. and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on the production floor. Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, carrying, pulling, pushing, stooping, crouching, color determination, and grasping.
