Position Overview:
Reporting directly to the Chief Medical Officer, the Chief Clinical Officer will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of healthcare services, ensuring high-quality patient care, addressing patient concerns, and leading the clinical team. This role requires close collaboration with the Director of Clinical Operations to manage staff performance, provide training, and ensure compliance with clinic policies.

Essential Qualifications:

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
  • Valid CA state medical license OR NP/PA license
  • Completion of an accredited residency program
  • Current DEA certification
  • A minimum of 3 years in a leadership capacity
  • At least 5 years of clinical practice experience
  • Board certification in primary care
  • Current CPR certification

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct patient care
  • Provide consultation to PA/NP providers
  • Oversee healthcare services within the department
  • Manage clinical personnel
  • Ensure continuity of care in the absence of a primary care provider
  • Supervise newly hired clinician staff
  • Advocate for the medical staff's interests to management
  • Ensure adherence to regulations and standards of practice
  • Engage in meetings and decision-making processes
  • Conduct staff meetings
