About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Production Laboratory Technician to join our Analytical Operations team at Entegris. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting laboratory procedures of a technical nature, handling sensitive equipment, and collaborating with your team to maintain daily operations and optimize lab procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Laboratory Testing: Assist and conduct laboratory testing according to work instructions and report deviations and/or anomalies.
  • Chemical Management: Organize, store, and dispose of all chemical substances, fluids, and compressed gases according to safety practices and protocols.
  • Data Recording: Record all data and results in specified controlled forms legibly and correctly to ensure traceability and data defensibility.
  • Environmental Maintenance: Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and orderly environment (5S Guidelines).
  • Support Laboratory Staff: Support laboratory staff by maintaining glassware, logs, and record books in a fast-paced trace level laboratory.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain laboratory supplies inventory by placing orders, verifying receipt, and properly storing.
  • Documentation: Document information by maintaining daily logs and equipment record books.
  • Problem Resolution: Resolve problems by examining and evaluating data and selecting corrective steps.
  • Project Support: Complete projects by assisting the team and attending and participating in group and project meetings.
  • Professional Development: Expand upon personal job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, special project teams, and reading technical publications.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent with previous experience handling hazardous chemicals in a laboratory (Associate's Degree in a relevant field of study and/or cleanroom experience preferred).
  • Technical Skills: Be mechanically inclined and experience operating electrical and nonelectrical laboratory equipment.
  • Quality Systems: General knowledge of quality systems and laboratory best practices.
  • Safety Protocols: Knowledge of proper safe handling/disposal of potentially dangerous substances (flammable liquids, corrosives, and toxic compounds).
  • Teamwork: Prior experience and dedication to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Communication: Strong time management skills and the ability to work well independently while possessing good teamworking skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and organization.
  • Physical Abilities: Strong dexterity and good eye-hand coordination.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Software Proficiency: Working knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
