Engineering Supervisor

Entegris is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sublimation Manufacturing Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and technicians in the development and implementation of process improvements and manufacturing solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Process Improvement: Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of engineers and technicians in the development and implementation of manufacturing solutions.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production management, quality assurance, and research and development, to drive process improvements and manufacturing solutions.
- Problem Solving: Utilize structured problem-solving tools, such as 8D, FMEA, and RCA, to drive to root cause and resolution for process defects or upsets.
- Capacity Planning: Develop and maintain target capacity data for equipment and processes to be used in production planning and long-range strategic planning exercises.
- Capacity Expansion: Identify bottlenecks and candidates for capacity expansion projects and scope and execute capacity expansion projects to completion.
- Communication: Communicate effectively across the organization to drive results and contribute to the direction of the department in partnership with other members of the team and leadership.
- Education: Bachelor's of Science in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or similar.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in chemical operations, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of HVM process equipment.
- Skills: Strong understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and statistical data analysis for application to Qualification and Validation. Experience with Minitab a plus.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead structured problem-solving using tools such as 8D, FMEA, 5 Why, RCA, etc. Aptitude for leadership to drive cross-functional project execution and problem-solving while maintaining positive/collaborative working relationships.
- Communication: Ability to present technical data to all levels of the organization.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and wear PPE as necessary.
- Travel: Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally in support of various engineering projects/escalations.
