JOB PROFILE:
Senior Accountant

JOB LOCATION:
Carrollton, TX

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


As a significant entity in the software industry with a robust workforce, the Senior Accountant will oversee various critical financial functions under the guidance of the controller. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


  • Managing all facets of accounts payable and receivable, preparing monthly client invoices, executing weekly payment runs, and analyzing AP and AR aging reports.

Conducting weekly cash reconciliations across all subsidiaries, investigating discrepancies, and proposing adjustment entries to the Controller.

Performing month-end General Ledger reconciliations across subsidiaries and consolidated entities, with recommendations for adjustments to the Controller.


  • Assisting in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes: identifying and preparing necessary accruals, reconciling open Purchase Orders, Prepaids, Deposits, Fixed Assets, and inter-company re-invoicing GL accounts.
  • Supporting the Controller during the annual financial audit.

Assisting the Controller with the migration and enhancement of accounting software.


  • Ensuring adherence to company finance and accounting protocols, including purchase order processes, approvals, and payments.
  • Maintaining comprehensive and accurate documentation in line with company policies and accepted accounting principles.
  • Assisting with the management and utilization of the expense and travel system.

Collaborating closely with various accounting teams (both local and international) and actively contributing to the Corporate Finance & Accounting department.


  • Handling ad-hoc tasks and reporting as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:

To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:
  • Experience in Accounts Payable and General Ledger reconciliation.
  • Cash Management expertise.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite is preferred, along with the ability to work independently under tight deadlines and collaboratively across different levels of the organization.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, particularly MS365 and MS Excel (including advanced functions such as H/V/XLOOKUP, pivots, and other features).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and professional email etiquette.
  • Ability to multitask, solve problems, and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive and anticipatory thinking.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting is preferred.
