Finance Operations Manager.
The Finance Operations Manager will oversee the organization's annual budgeting, both long-term and short-term financial forecasting, monthly performance analysis, and reporting, as well as cost assessments and multi-unit retail evaluations.
The ideal candidate must exhibit a robust comprehension of essential business drivers and financial frameworks that empower the Finance team to provide insightful analyses throughout the organization.
Responsibilities:
Engage in the strategic financial planning process, which includes annual budgets, monthly and quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial projections.
Compile formal monthly and quarterly financial reports and capital analytics for executive management.
Ensure the timely production and accuracy of quarterly Board packages, including the creation and support materials for other high-level corporate documents.
Assist capital project managers in the preparation, execution, and oversight of capital expenditures and forecasting, collaborating with corporate department leaders.
Oversee the generation of reports and support corporate departments with expense comparisons and the timely input of monthly forecasts.
Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation for the company's overall operations and corporate annual planning and monthly forecasting.
Maintain a full-time work schedule with regular, in-person attendance during standard business hours, at least 40 hours per week.
Ability to meet the physical demands of this role, which often include: the capacity to remain stationary, move freely within and occasionally outside of the office, and operate mechanical controls, such as a keyboard.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is required.
3+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role demonstrating leadership capabilities.
Strong financial, strategic, analytical, and project management skills.
Executive presence with the ability to confidently deliver structured presentations to senior management.
Capable of presenting complex financial data and concepts in an easily digestible format.
Proven expertise in business analysis (including budgeting and forecasting) within a multi-unit business environment is essential, preferably in financial services or retail.
Must effectively collaborate with Accounting to ensure clear application of technical GAAP standards to long-term budgeting and forecasting needs.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with expert-level skills in Excel and Oracle Essbase is required.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
Master's Degree in Business or a quantitative field such as Finance or Economics is advantageous.
CPA or CFA certification is a plus.
Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP accounting software is beneficial.
