Position Overview:

The Covenant Compliance Specialist will play a pivotal role in supporting the Front Line teams with respect to covenant adherence and documentation within the Wholesale Banking sector. This position is crucial for ensuring that all compliance measures are met across various deal teams, including but not limited to:

  • Core Lending
  • International Desk
  • Project Finance
  • Leveraged Lending
  • Financial Advisory Services

Key Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of the Covenant Compliance Specialist will encompass a variety of tasks that are expected to evolve. These include:

  • Analyzing legal agreements to ascertain necessary documentation and financial covenants that require monitoring.
  • Maintaining and tracking documentation and covenant obligations across diverse portfolios utilizing DOX Pro.
  • Collaborating with the Front Office to address any documentation or covenant breaches that may arise.
  • Reviewing compliance reports to address and reduce instances of overdue or delayed items.
  • Reassessing Borrowing Base requirements as necessary.

Essential Skills:

Proficiency in compliance, covenant management, and risk assessment is essential for this role.

Preferred Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s Degree is required for consideration.

Experience Level:

This position is suitable for candidates at an Intermediate Level.
