Position Overview

As a Retail Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the in-store Customer Experience. Your passion for coaching and developing your team will be key as you guide them in various aspects of store management, including operations, training, employee relations, visual merchandising, and asset security. In the absence of the Store Manager, you will take on all managerial responsibilities. Your success will be evaluated based on your ability to drive sales and achieve profit targets for your designated store.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspire and motivate your team to achieve sales goals while providing outstanding customer service.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by being well-versed in all products and collaborating with colleagues to deliver exceptional sales support.
  • Meet and exceed expectations in sales, customer experience, merchandising, visual presentation, and operational standards.
  • Serve as a liaison between customers, sales associates, and store management.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to learning and sharing knowledge about products and trends to meet customer needs.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of product knowledge and stay informed about current and upcoming trends.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Qualifications

  • Proven leadership skills with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer-facing retail environment.
  • Comfortable engaging with customers to provide an elevated shopping experience.
  • Driven to achieve exceptional results through enthusiasm for customer interactions and athletic merchandise.
  • Adaptable and resourceful in responding to the dynamic demands of an omni-channel retail landscape.
  • Proactive in completing tasks independently.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical abilities, including problem-solving, decision-making, and financial analysis.

  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
