Technical Proficiency: Competent in using basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and Apple devices).

Interpersonal Skills: Strong collaboration and communication abilities.

Organizational Skills: Excellent ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Adaptability: Capability to respond under pressure, exercise sound judgment in uncertain situations, and remain flexible.

Availability: Willingness to work a flexible, full-time schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with specific availability on Sundays and Mondays.

Responsibilities

As a Retail Operations Leader at Ulta Beauty, you will be instrumental in driving the company's mission, vision, and values, fostering a high-performing team that consistently achieves sales growth through operational excellence.

Leading a dynamic team that includes the Merchandise Manager, Beauty Advisors, and Task Associates, you will oversee all facets of store operations, including realignments, planograms, and inventory lifecycle processes.

This role is highly visible, focusing on creating positive, friendly, and enjoyable customer experiences through effective merchandise presentation and ensuring product availability at the right time and price.

Promote a culture of accountability to meet or exceed store goals related to retail and service sales, customer loyalty, payroll management, and inventory control.

Utilize the company's task management system to prioritize and ensure the execution of all operational focuses, including ad set processes, visual merchandising, planograms, inventory lifecycle processes (e.g., cycle counts, damages, testers, inventory adjustments), pricing updates, cleaning, and replenishment.

Forecast and adjust store payroll to maximize productivity, achieve sales and payroll objectives, and complete operational tasks on time and within budget.

Review, analyze, and respond to financial and operational reports.

Execute the Guest Engagement Leader program effectively through business ownership, associate coaching, and fostering a welcoming customer experience.

Perform makeup applications, skincare analyses, and product demonstrations.

Attract, hire, and retain a diverse team of top talent.

Create an inclusive environment and support all aspects of associate professional development, including training, coaching, and succession planning.

Manage supply inventory and ordering processes, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints and availability of necessary products for services and retail.

Protect company assets and minimize loss by ensuring compliance with all store standards and operating procedures, including workplace safety, inventory control, and loss prevention.

Support continuous improvement by promoting the adoption of company initiatives and technology, communicating expectations, and ensuring the execution of all store tasks.

Ensure compliance with all Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, and standards.

Communicate and provide feedback to field leadership.

Physical Requirements:

Continuous mobility throughout the store during shifts, including twisting, frequent bending, pulling, pushing, crouching, stooping, and reaching.

Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs regularly.

Continuous coordination and manipulation of objects during shifts.

Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 per hour, with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation through the company's bonus plan.

Exact pay will be determined based on factors including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business needs.
