Key Responsibilities- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process and record Accounts Payable transactions, generate and send invoices, and track and record Accounts Receivable.
- Customer Statements: Prepare and distribute customer statements in a timely manner.
- 1099 Preparation: Assist in the preparation of 1099 forms for vendors.
- Depreciation Records: Maintain accurate records of depreciation for fixed assets.
- Experience: Proven experience as an Accounting Specialist or in a similar role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (DSD Manager a plus).
- Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to Detail: Highly detail-oriented to ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Reliable: Consistently strong performance and attendance.
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience is acceptable.
