Pacheco Union School District is a semi-rural institution located in the heart of Shasta County, nestled between the charming cities of Redding and Anderson. Our district comprises two schools, Prairie, a TK-3 institution catering to approximately 320 students, and Pacheco, which serves around 370 students in grades 4-8. We foster close relationships with our parents, boasting the most active parent club in Shasta County.


Our Parent Club, the Pacheco Prairie Parent Teacher Group (PPPTG), offers students a diverse array of opportunities, from engaging field trips to our district-wide Winter Workshop. This dynamic club provides students with valuable and enjoyable learning experiences. In addition to our Parent Club, we also have the Academics Arts Athletics Foundation (AAAF), which organizes fundraising events throughout the year, supporting after-school clubs, academic endeavors, and athletic programs.

Job Summary

Under the general direction of the Superintendent, this role will oversee the planning and direction of the District's business department. Key responsibilities include managing Pacheco Union District's fiscal operations, financial and student attendance accounting systems, payroll, position control, accounts payable, insurance and benefit administration, contract administration, and purchasing. The successful candidate will also serve as a member of the District's management team in the collective bargaining process and provide fiscal advice to the Superintendent.


Requirements / Qualifications

•Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in public administration, accounting/finance, business administration, or a related field.


•Professional experience in management, business, and/or fiscal planning and support.


A copy of the transcript, letter of introduction, letters of recommendation (three or less, dated within the last year), and a resume are required.


Estimated Salary Range

The estimated salary for this position is between $80,000 and $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
