Post-Acute Sales Representative

Job Summary
Medline Industries is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our Post-Acute Care Division. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling clinical and operational solutions to healthcare providers across the long-term care and homecare industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the post-acute care market, including long-term care facilities, home health and hospice agencies, and medical equipment providers.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a strong knowledge base about Medline's product portfolio and value-added programs and services.
- Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including owners, senior clinical officers, and purchasing managers.
- Cold Calling and Prospecting: Conduct cold calls and prospecting to develop new business opportunities.
- Presentations and Education: Present new products and initiatives to customers, educate them on current industry trends and regulations, and prepare bids and negotiate contracts.
- Territory Management: Take ownership and leadership of your territory, growing it like your own business.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of quota-based sales experience, or at least 5 years of quota-based sales experience.
- Sales Skills: Ability to sell effectively to different levels within a customer organization, proven ability to identify, connect with, and close new business, and complex sales strategy/approach to sell solutions across multiple levels.
- Communication and Organizational Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, stable work history, and computer proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Travel and Driving: Ability to drive a car, travel in that car 90% of each day, and interact with healthcare providers on site.
Compensation and Benefits:
This is a fully commissioned position with additional incentive compensation. The first-year guarantee is $100,000, with the potential to earn more. The role is bonus-eligible, and Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold. The benefit package includes health insurance, life and disability, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, and more.
