Position Overview:
As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for the precise handling and preparation of various meat and seafood products. Your expertise will ensure that our kitchen maintains the highest standards of quality and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Exhibit a thorough understanding of diverse meat and seafood offerings, applying correct butchering methods.
- Skillfully cut and portion larger meat sections into smaller, manageable sizes.
- Uphold rigorous cleanliness and presentation standards across all kitchen areas.
- Adhere to Department of Health regulations relevant to kitchen operations.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a butchering capacity.
- Prior experience in a dining establishment is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, meat preparation techniques, and various cuts.
- Capability to remain on your feet for extended durations.
- Proficiency in English is preferred.
