Over the past three years, we have successfully established a robust foodservice and retail presence across ten countries in Europe, with our products featured in over 5,000 venues, from casual eateries to Michelin-starred establishments.

As we expand into the US market, we seek a motivated and passionate sales professional with an entrepreneurial spirit to drive growth in our NY Region foodservice sector. This is an opportunity to be among the first team members in the US and contribute to a significant movement in the food industry.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Accelerate sales growth through culinary demonstrations that emphasize solution-oriented selling, ensuring long-term market success.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with both existing and prospective clients, including distributors, restaurants, and catering services.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities while collaborating closely with distributor sales teams to enhance customer engagement according to our sales strategy.
  • Leverage your creativity and entrepreneurial mindset to increase volume and revenue, meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for your designated area.
  • Maintain daily updates in the CRM system.
  • Conduct both in-person and virtual culinary and sales training sessions for distributor sales teams.
  • Represent Redefine Meat at industry trade shows, delivering outstanding live cooking demonstrations and capturing new client leads.
  • Provide exceptional customer support by regularly checking in with existing foodservice clients and assisting with strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Business Development and Marketing teams to identify and develop new business opportunities based on market trends and culinary innovations.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in selling innovative food brands, ideally within a startup environment.
  • Strong culinary skills and a genuine passion for food.
  • Established relationships within the NY Area Foodservice sector are highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with chefs and culinary professionals.
  • A self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, willing to challenge conventional practices.
  • A proactive approach to sales with a hunter mentality.
  • A collaborative team player.
  • A mission-driven individual with enthusiasm for the plant-based food industry.
  • Experience engaging with stakeholders across the foodservice value chain, including distributors, brokers, and restaurants.
  • Strong presentation and verbal/written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and CRM systems.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the NY area.
