Position Overview:

The primary role of a Sales Account Manager is to secure contracts for the services offered by Tradesmen International.

This position involves engaging with contractors to communicate the unique value proposition of Tradesmen International.

The Sales Account Manager is tasked with identifying and acquiring new business opportunities while nurturing existing client relationships to enhance the utilization of Tradesmen International's services and workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and expand sales opportunities.
  • Achieve and surpass sales targets established by the organization.
  • Effectively relay detailed client requirements to the Operations team.
  • Generate leads and identify potential clients.
  • Conduct direct sales outreach and presentations at client locations.


Provide education to prospects and clients regarding the correlation between a skilled variable workforce and improved productivity and profitability.


Onboard new clients in accordance with the business strategy, informing them about the advantages and terms of partnering with Tradesmen.


Ensure timely collection of payments owed to Tradesmen, personally delivering the initial invoices to establish a reliable payment pattern.

Networking and Relationship Building:

  • Participate in industry-related associations and networking events; engage in association committees.
  • Foster additional sales through the cultivation of strong client relationships.
  • Maintain regular follow-ups with registered clients to nurture relationships, initiate orders, and ensure ongoing engagement with Tradesmen's services.
  • Establish connections with senior management, office staff, and jobsite supervisors through consistent visits and communication.


Conduct follow-up communications with clients post-dispatch of field employees to guarantee satisfaction and uphold quality standards.


Deliver periodic evaluations of field employees to clients.


Address client concerns and complaints proactively and professionally, prioritizing urgency.

Field Employee Management:

  • Prepare field employees for client assignments and accompany them on their initial jobs.
  • Build relationships with field employees by checking in after their first day, visiting job sites weekly, and maintaining communication with available employees.
  • Stay informed about the assignments of field employees through regular field visits, addressing any issues with a proactive and professional approach.
Sales Process Support:

  • Maintain organized client sales files.
  • Attend necessary meetings, including one-on-one sessions with management, operational meetings, and sales training.
  • Complete weekly sales activity reports in the system.
  • Present a weekly plan to management.
  • Investigate and report on any work-related injuries.
  • Encourage employee referrals from top-performing field employees and distribute referral program materials as appropriate.
  • Stay updated on and adhere to all procedures outlined in the Field Office Procedures Manual.
  • Engage in training activities as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:

  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Proven ability to cultivate strong customer relationships.
  • Experience in building relationships with field employees.
  • Self-driven and results-oriented.
  • Consistent and reliable attendance is essential.
  • Familiarity with standard computer and CRM systems is advantageous.
  • Experience in cold calling and generating new business leads is beneficial.
  • A valid driver's license and dependable transportation are required.
