Job Overview
This role offers the opportunity to provide administrative support to the Presbytery of San Francisco, utilizing strong organizational skills and attention to detail. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting various teams with agendas, meeting reminders, online support, digital filing, and paperwork, working with Planning Center and Microsoft OneDrive. Additionally, they will help maintain all Presbytery data and files physically and electronically, assist with mass mailings for internal and external communications using MailChimp, distribution lists, and email as appropriate. The position also involves providing support and hospitality for presbytery events, assisting the office coordinator with administrative and financial tasks, and general support as needed.

The ideal candidate will possess assistant and administrative experience, demonstrated organizational skills, strong oral and written communication skills, including excellent proofreading skills. They will also have a self-aware and self-directed approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects, engage in compassion and integrity, and maintain confidential information. Excellent interpersonal, listening, and people skills are essential, along with proficiency in ZOOM, MailChimp, Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Suite, Planning Center, database programs, WordPress, Adobe, and Microsoft Publisher.

Responsibilities include statistics collection, minister salary review, maintaining minister rolls, files, and connections, preparing materials for presbytery meetings, facilitating registration, and attending and supporting presbytery meetings. A rate of pay of $25.00 per hour is offered, eligible for sick leave as required by law. The position requires at least two days (eight hours-Tue/Th) in person at the PSF office.
