Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Process Engineer, Microfluidics to enhance our innovative efforts in tissue engineering. Our company is committed to pioneering solutions that address critical health challenges, including pulmonary arterial hypertension.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective post-processing methods for large-scale 3D printed scaffolds, ensuring compatibility for cellularization.
- Create and validate assays to evaluate perfusion and post-processing techniques for 3D printed structures.
- Oversee routine quality control testing of 3D printed scaffolds, ensuring adherence to established standards.
- Assess the compatibility of bioreactors and perfusion systems with various post-processing methodologies.
- Perform additional tasks as required to support project goals.
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- A minimum of 6 years of relevant industry experience in process chemistry, medical devices, or microfluidics development, with a Master's Degree in a related field; or 3 years of experience with a PhD.
- Expertise in scaling chemical processes and understanding surface chemistry and surfactants.
- Experience in the post-processing of medical devices, including washing, rinsing, and coatings.
- Proficiency in UV spectroscopic methods, micro-CT imaging, and particle size analysis.
- Skills in assay development, validation, and quality control processes.
- Familiarity with standard software for data management and presentation.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to present data effectively.
- Self-motivation and the ability to follow experimental protocols independently.
