Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Service Counselor to join our team at Park Lawn Memorial Group, LLC. As a Family Service Counselor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to client families, ensuring their needs are met, and exceeding their expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish Professional Relationships

Build and maintain strong relationships with client families, understanding their needs and preferences to provide personalized service.

Provide Tours and Guidance

Offer guided tours of our cemetery lots, ensuring families are comfortable and informed throughout the process.

Develop Relationships and Referrals

Build relationships with client families, schedule aftercare appointments, and obtain referrals to ensure client satisfaction and growth.

Ensure Compliance and Accuracy

Accurately complete required documents, ensure proper interment verification, and conduct random audits to maintain compliance with state and industry regulations.

Meet Revenue Generation Goals

Consistently meet or exceed company standards in revenue generation to maintain employment and benefits eligibility status.

Protect Confidentiality

Protect the confidentiality of company and client family information, including sales and marketing programs, materials, names, and addresses.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

A four-year degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience is preferred. Proven track record of success in outside sales production is strongly preferred.

Communication and Teamwork

Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to read, write, and speak English fluently. Bilingual is a plus.

Technical Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) preferred.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The duties associated with this position are generally performed in an indoor office setting, with occasional outdoor duties requiring exposure to natural elements.
