The position of Sales Associate at The UPS Store presents an excellent opportunity to provide outstanding customer service while assisting clients with their shipping and printing requirements. In this role, you will be essential in offering insights about our offerings and ensuring that customers enjoy a positive experience during their visit.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides top-notch customer service both face-to-face and via telephone
  • Listens attentively to customers and colleagues to deliver optimal solutions
  • Understands customers' shipping needs and recommends suitable options
  • Maintains comprehensive knowledge of all products, services, and market trends
  • Operates equipment with expertise and shares knowledge with team members
  • Ensures the workspace is clean, organized, and safe
  • Completes additional duties as required

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in retail or customer service roles
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to promote and sell products and services effectively
  • Proficient packing skills
  • Familiarity with computer applications such as Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites
  • Excellent telephone communication skills
  • Good written and verbal communication abilities
  • Reliable and capable of lifting heavy items
