Business Development Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Associate to join our high-growth, fast-paced home service support and partnership organization. This role will play a critical part in generating leads and building a pipeline of potential partnership opportunities for our growing portfolio company, Trusted Home Service Partners (THSP).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate leads through cold and warm calling efforts
  • Build a deep pipeline of future acquisition opportunities
  • Outbound prospect qualification and company research
  • Manage and maintain prospect database ensuring accuracy and integrity
  • Work closely with the business development team to progress leads through the deal cycle
  • Assist in marketing campaigns
  • Schedule travel and create trip plans for senior members of the BD team
  • Assist in additional administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Proven experience in sales, lead generation, or business development roles
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas effectively
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with business owners
  • Self-motivated and target-driven mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Results-oriented approach with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales productivity tools
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple prospects and tasks simultaneously
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn about new industries, products, or services
  • Knowledge of market research techniques and industry analysis is a plus
  • Local to the Chicago, IL area/willing to relocate
  • Ability to commute to the Downtown Chicago area 5 days/week
Compensation:

Base salary of $55,000 plus uncapped commission potential with OTE of around $75-85K
