About the OrganizationThe Women's Business Development Center is a nationally recognized 501(c)(3) business growth center and economic development organization with 35 years of experience helping women and other diverse entrepreneurs establish and grow sustainable businesses that create jobs and fuel economic growth.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the planning, organization, and facilitation of business development programming and services that support the growth of women-owned and diverse businesses.
- Support client advising, including assessing and supporting client needs, and providing guidance on business development strategies and resources.
- Manage and coordinate resources, community partnerships, and subject-matter experts to execute programming and services.
- Work with the marketing team to promote and outreach for workshops, events, and training sessions.
- Represent the Women's Business Development Center at trade shows and events through networking, presentations, and public speaking.
- Align with the organization's overall strategic goals and objectives.
- Strong analytical and financial skills, with experience in business development and economic empowerment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other business software.
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a related field, with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Passion for women's issues and economic empowerment, with a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
- Competitive salary range of $55,000 - $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience and skillset.
