Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent education along with relevant experience is required.
1-3 years of continuous job experience is necessary.
Experience in healthcare or as a general receptionist is required.

Responsibilities:

Engage in health center initiatives to meet established productivity goals.
Contribute to health center/affiliate efforts to achieve set revenue cycle objectives.
Perform the following tasks:
Welcome patients, manage phone calls, direct inquiries, and schedule appointments.
Prepare patient charts, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and proper assembly.
Accurately input and update patient data in the computer system.
Maintain patient records.
Evaluate client financial situations, which may involve verifying insurance, health plan authorizations, and collecting fees according to agency guidelines, completing necessary forms, and obtaining signatures as per agency policy.
Complete relevant financial/statistical documentation for clients.
Monitor clinic operations.
Coordinate appointments for family planning services, including but not limited to contraceptive and abortion services.
Execute clerical and administrative tasks as directed by management.
