Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Pharmacy Customer Service Associate to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, processing prescriptions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process prescriptions, including retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs, verifying medicine is correct, and checking for possible interactions.
  • Assist pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining work flow, including utilizing pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information.
  • Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records.
  • Perform duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist, and Store Manager, including handling telephone calls and processing manual claims for third-party program prescription services.
Requirements
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Prefer good math skills for filling prescriptions accurately.
  • Prefer good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control.
