Lead Supply Chain Analyst

Position Overview

The Lead Supply Chain Analyst will oversee daily analytical, strategic, and operational support within the supply chain division. This role is pivotal in spearheading initiatives aimed at enhancing the digital capabilities of the Supply Chain function, while also pinpointing opportunities to boost operational efficiencies through systems and process enhancements. Automation and analytics will be integral to the future of the Supply Chain team, and this position will lead various initiatives focused on data creation, management, utilization, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage various operational aspects and support of essential system platforms that facilitate the complete supply chain process.
  • Conduct in-depth data analyses, reporting, and modeling to generate insights and recommendations that guide decision-making across the supply chain.
  • Collaborate with supply chain functions to comprehend business processes and cultivate relationships that enable effective delivery of analytics.
  • Enhance supply chain responsiveness, agility, and optimization by developing tools that drive business decisions.
  • Streamline workflows to improve and automate reporting, analytics, and dashboard functionalities.
  • Translate business functional requirements into technical specifications and simplify technical approaches into comprehensible terms.
  • Establish and maintain procedures and documentation, ensuring a thorough understanding of standard operating procedures, job aids, forms, and reference materials necessary for monitoring and managing formal change controls and implementation activities.
  • Effectively plan and collaborate with team members on data-driven projects aimed at improving internal tools, systems, and data outputs.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to maintain operational and procedural alignment.
  • Work closely with supply chain leadership to design a measurement strategy and develop key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Articulate and communicate aspects of a digital and operational future state for the supply chain team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
  • Hands-on experience, preferably with implementation, in pharmaceutical manufacturing, supply chain, and related systems (e.g., MES, ERP, COC/COI Systems).
  • Experience in project management and process analysis.
  • Proficiency in designing, maintaining, and enhancing processes.
  • Understanding of metrics and key performance indicators that drive supply chain operations.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel or other coding languages.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree.
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification.
  • Experience with cell and gene therapy products.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
  • Capable of moving about within an office environment and exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally.
  • Visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data, viewing a computer screen, and extensive reading.
  • Position requires repetitive motion and substantial movements of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others to exchange information.

Mental Requirements

Clear and conceptual thinking ability; excellent judgment, troubleshooting, problem-solving, analysis, and discretion; capacity to manage work-related stress; ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously; and capability to meet deadlines.

Work Environment

This position will operate in both an office and laboratory setting, with potential exposure to hazardous or biological waste during various processes.
