Overview

At Chain, we are seeking a highly skilled Technical Consultant to join our team. As a Technical Consultant, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing custom integrations for our customers, ensuring seamless supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Discovery and Requirements Gathering
    • Conduct in-depth discovery sessions to identify business needs and processes
    • Finalize requirements gathering and create a Statement of Work (SOW)
  • Integration Design and Solutioning
    • Provide effort estimation for analysis, mapping, and testing
    • Log billable hours to ensure maximization of profitability
  • Project Management
    • Accelerate time to value by clarifying Solutions approach cross-departmentally with CS and Product teams
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing complex challenges and resolving them efficiently
    • Project manage as needed to ensure on-time delivery
  • Gap Identification and Recommendations
    • Identify gaps in current processes and provide recommendations to internal Product teams and clients

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Delivery, business analysis, or IT
  • Familiarity with tracking billable hours
  • Experience analyzing EDI specifications
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Advanced technical skills, including familiarity with various data file types such as XML and JSON
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
  • A history of leading and supporting successful projects

Preferred Qualifications

  • Able to read/write basic programming scripts in a language like Python or JavaScript
  • Experience using Cargowise

Compensation

This position is exempt and the anticipated annual salary range for this position is $93,000 USD. Actual compensation is based on a range of factors including the candidate's skill set, experience, education, certifications, and training.
