Position Summary:
This role is accountable to the Associate Director, IT G&A. The IT ERP Finance and Supply Chain Manager is a proactive managerial position that serves as both the technical and operational authority for the Oracle NetSuite ERP IT application utilized by Iovance Biotherapeutics in the financial and supply chain domains.
The ideal candidate will possess a robust techno-functional expertise and be recognized as a subject matter expert in Oracle NetSuite, overseeing three critical areas: (a) Financial: Average Costing utilizing Manufacturing Cost Templates, (b) Technical: SFTP integrations, and (c) Supply Chain: Procure to Pay (PTP) and Order to Cash (OTC) processes. A commitment to enhancing the business (customer) experience with IT applications is essential. The individual will engage with business stakeholders to identify challenges and develop effective solutions.
The cell therapy sector necessitates an IT professional who understands the unique pressures that business stakeholders impose on IT teams and applications, ensuring swift adaptation to changes while maintaining essential application controls and SDLC review processes. Success in this role hinges on effective business stakeholder engagement, collaboration, expectation management, and a deep understanding of requirements, complemented by Oracle NetSuite proficiency. Additionally, the individual will oversee the Oracle NetSuite offshore IT support team for Iovance, enhancing change management, release management, and daily support in compliance with SOX regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deepen knowledge of Iovance's Oracle NetSuite (ERP) application and its integration with the Manufacturing Execution System, troubleshooting issues and managing global NetSuite ERP IT support operations.
- Act as the IT application owner for the Oracle NetSuite financial ERP application, leading support, change management, release management, projects, and ITGC SOX reviews to expand the ERP footprint at Iovance across financial and supply chain sectors.
- Quickly learn and enhance the Oracle NetSuite SuiteApprovals functionality for Purchase Orders and Vendor Bills, standardizing Manufacturing Cost templates for Work Orders, and Cost Accounting using Average Costing to support finance and supply chain operations.
- Assist the team with operational tasks, including end-user support and issue resolution, focusing on proactive monitoring rather than reactive troubleshooting, and creating/updating knowledge articles and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for application enhancements.
- Possess knowledge of pharmaceutical business processes, Part 11 data integrity, infrastructure, architecture, and technology to support manufacturing operations.
- Collaborate with business teams to understand processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at operational efficiencies and cost reductions.
- Uphold Iovance Biotherapeutics' core values, policies, procedures, and business ethics.
Travel Requirements:
- Minimal travel expected (less than 10%).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science or Engineering.
Preferred Experience:
- At least 8 years of IT experience with an ERP application such as Oracle NetSuite.
- A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in biotech/pharma information technology, with exposure to cell and gene therapy being advantageous.
- Extensive experience in managing and troubleshooting Oracle NetSuite ERP – Financial, SFTP, and Supply Chain modules.
- Proven experience in managing vendors and offshore teams.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
- Experience managing a portfolio of applications and budgets to achieve cost efficiency is crucial.
- Familiarity with FDA regulated industries and knowledge of CFR 21 Part 11, cGMP is a plus.
