Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Hotel Front Desk Representative to join our team at Homewood Suites. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable stay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Check-In/Check-Out: Process guest arrivals and departures, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of room assignments, key cards, and payment processing.
  • Reservation Management: Manage online and phone reservations, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Customer Service: Provide personalized assistance to guests, addressing their needs and concerns, and ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
  • Room Assignments: Welcome guests upon arrival, assign rooms, and ensure all necessary information is collected and recorded.
  • Hotel Information: Provide guests with information about our hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities, as well as respond to any questions or concerns.
  • Conflict Resolution: Respond to client complaints in a timely and professional manner, resolving issues and ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Collaboration: Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy, and fully-furnished to accommodate guests' needs.
  • Group Reservations: Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, such as wedding guests.
  • Upselling: Offer additional facilities and services to guests, when appropriate, to enhance their stay and increase revenue.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain updated records of bookings and payments, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
  • Breakfast Setup: Assist with the setup, execution, breakdown, and cleanup of our Homewood breakfast as requested or needed.
Requirements
  • Experience: Prior experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or similar role.
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with hotel reservations software, such as OnQ or Opera.
  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service experience, with a focus on providing exceptional service to guests.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
