Role Overview:

The Senior Account Manager plays a crucial role in collaborating with Advisors and Account Executives to effectively manage client accounts. This position involves daily account management tasks, requiring a high level of communication through various channels. The Senior Account Manager will oversee the renewal and marketing processes, working closely with the Account Executives and Advisors. Additionally, this role includes preparing presentation materials and supporting team members in client servicing activities. The Senior Account Manager is expected to take a proactive role in client meetings, fostering strong relationships with clients and carrier contacts to ensure efficient service delivery.

This is a full-time position with a hybrid work schedule, allowing for a combination of in-office and remote work. Ideal candidates will have a background in servicing high net-worth clients and possess consultative experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively maintain and nurture relationships with clients and carrier contacts, potentially leading meetings for assigned accounts.
  • Manage the quoting, renewal, and marketing processes from inception to completion, in collaboration with Sales Leaders.
  • Engage directly with clients and carriers, working alongside Account Executives or Advisors.
  • Organize and maintain client files in accordance with office protocols, ensuring accurate policy records in the agency management system.
  • Oversee a designated book of business, providing comprehensive servicing for clients.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in a hybrid model is essential.
  • Exceptional written communication skills, with a focus on clarity and accuracy.
  • Confidence in making independent decisions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse personalities.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Technical proficiency combined with analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage situations with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Experience with AMS 360, EPIC, or similar agency management systems is required.
  • Adaptability to shifting priorities and technological advancements.

Education and Experience:

  • BA/BS degree preferred.
  • Typically, over 2 years of relevant industry experience from a servicing perspective.
  • Experience in Personal Lines insurance, particularly with high net-worth clientele, is preferred.
  • Property & Casualty License required upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with major markets such as AIG, Chubb/ACE, Cincinnati, Berkely One, and PURE.
  • Knowledge of carriers like Travelers, Progressive, and national flood.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • P&C Insurance License required upon hire.
  • CIC, CPCU, or other P&C designations preferred.
