Job Summary

IPConfigure is seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in maintaining and managing the company's inventory system, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency in inventory and warehouse processes.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Loading and unloading deliveries
  • Inspecting deliveries for any visible damage and reporting it to the purchasing administrator
  • Returns damaged or defective products to suppliers
  • Develops and maintains good working relationships with vendors
  • Maintains accurate daily records of incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Manages and maintains inventory system; facilitates upgrades to related databases and/or software under the direction of the purchasing administrator
  • Maintain safety while using equipment and tools
  • Operating forklift and other heavy equipment when necessary
  • Warehouse workflow management
  • Warehouse safety program management
  • Perform inventory counts and reconcile any discrepancies
  • Monitor stock levels and determine reorder points
  • Collaborate with purchasing and warehouse teams to ensure accurate inventory levels
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures and best practices
  • Identify and resolve inventory-related issues and implement corrective actions
  • Restocking of all purchased goods including but not limited to kitchen and office supplies
  • Maintaining the grounds
  • Performs other related duties as requested
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Warehouse Specialist or similar role
  • Proficient in using inventory management software
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of inventory control best practices and procedures
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items as necessary and stand for extended periods
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Supply Chain Management/ Logistics degree or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience as a Warehouse Specialist or similar role required
  • Experience with computerized inventory systems required
  • Forklift operator certification required
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Prolonged periods of standing and being on your feet
  • Exposure to working outdoors as necessary
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times
  • Must be able to navigate the warehouse and reach items both high and low
