Reservationist - The Cliffs Hotel and Spa

As a locally owned establishment, we actively support our Central Coast community through various philanthropic initiatives and events throughout the year. We are currently in search of a dedicated, efficient, and enthusiastic part-time Reservationist who can engage with guests through a personalized approach to service. We look forward to the opportunity to connect with you.


Role Responsibilities:

The Reservationist is tasked with providing outstanding customer service by offering a personalized experience for each guest. Responsibilities include managing group bookings, third-party reservations, and various other reservation-related tasks. Key processes involve supporting the Reservations Supervisor, handling incoming reservation requests, and responding to calls directed to the reservations department.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Commitment to work a minimum of three shifts per week
  • Basic proficiency in computer applications, including email and scheduling tools
  • Familiarity with Word, Excel, Outlook, and Maestro PMS is advantageous
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Capability to deliver a high level of customer service
  • Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to convey product and service information to guests
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and quickly recall information
  • Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor throughout all shifts
  • Effective communication and collaboration with colleagues across departments
  • Previous experience in hospitality is preferred
  • Responsible Beverage Service Training and ABC Exam Certification or willingness to complete training upon hire

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods (4-8 hours)
  • Ability to sit for extended periods (4-8 hours)
  • Capability to lift light packages (under 40 pounds)
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
