Position Summary

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Parts Inventory Specialist. This role is crucial in managing the procurement, storage, and distribution of automotive parts, catering to both internal and external clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately assess and identify parts requirements
  • Generate and adjust purchase orders, liaising with vendors for part acquisition
  • Document and process warranty returns
  • Utilize dealership systems to manage special orders and inform relevant personnel upon arrival
  • Monitor and track special order parts
  • Handle the processing and reconciliation of open invoices
  • Verify the quality and quantity of received merchandise against invoices
  • Maintain comprehensive records of external purchases and parts transactions
  • Conduct regular inventory assessments within the warehouse
  • Perform clerical tasks and data entry as required

Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent is required; prior experience in a dealership setting or relevant training is preferred, or a suitable combination of education and experience.
