As an Automotive Sales Consultant, you will play a crucial role in selling both new and pre-owned vehicles, ensuring our clients receive unparalleled customer service and satisfaction while meeting DARCARS sales objectives.
Your responsibilities will include direct interaction with customers, both in-person and online, as well as collaboration with fellow Sales Consultants, Sales Managers, Finance Managers, and the General Manager.
This position operates on a commission basis and does not involve supervisory duties.Key Responsibilities:
Conduct business with professionalism and integrity.
Adhere to DARCARS' sales methodology, which includes:
- Welcoming customers and understanding their needs.
- Presenting vehicle features and operations that align with customer requirements, both in-person and virtually.
- Following established test drive protocols.
- Recommending additional features, warranties, and equipment for purchase.
- Accurately calculating and quoting sales prices.
- Collaborating with the finance team to secure financing options as necessary.
- Completing all required documentation.
- Coordinating vehicle delivery and registration.
- Addressing customer inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.
- Maintaining a thorough understanding of vehicle brands and products, including specifications, pricing, and options.
- Conducting effective demonstration rides on a designated route.
- Developing and maintaining a follow-up system for future prospects and customers.
- Participating in all mandatory training sessions provided by DARCARS.
- Utilizing digital retailing tools for online sales.
- Potentially using video tools to assist customers in the car-buying process.
- Collaborating with the General Manager to establish personal income goals that align with DARCARS standards and strategizing to achieve those goals.
- Complying with DARCARS policies and procedures.
- Performing other assigned duties as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills with customers and colleagues.
- Multilingual abilities (Spanish and Chinese) are advantageous.
- Proven dedication to customer service.
- Comfortable using video communication tools.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and policy documents, as well as engage in conversation with customers.
- Previous sales experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and twist as required by the job.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented mindset.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Minimum age of eighteen.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment screening (background check).
