Job Summary

Pinnacle Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional Lead to join our team in Chaska. As a key member of our residential care team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, mental health diagnoses, and behavioral issues.

Responsibilities
  • Meal Planning and Preparation: Assist with meal planning, preparation, and serving to ensure individuals receive nutritious meals.
  • Community Engagement: Facilitate community activities, outings, and events to promote socialization and skill-building.
  • Personal and Medical Care: Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as administer medications as needed.
  • Behavior Management: Implement strategies to promote positive behavior and de-escalate challenging situations.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the Program Manager or Program Director, including data entry, filing, and other tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, mental health diagnoses, and/or behavioral health support needs, preferably in a 245D setting.
  • Qualifications: Current driver's license, current auto insurance, reliable transportation, and an acceptable driving record determined by Pinnacle Services policy.
  • Age: Must be 18 years or older.
  • Certifications: Must successfully pass a background check.
