Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated On-Site Ink Operations Manager to oversee our operations at a client location. This role will act as a crucial link between INX and the client, ensuring seamless communication and operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical support, color matching, and ink production
  • Manufacturing ink batches weighing less than 100 lbs
  • Conducting Quality Control assessments on incoming and site-produced ink
  • Managing inventory and performing monthly consignment counts
  • Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through exceptional service
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients
  • Addressing technical issues faced by clients promptly and documenting solutions
  • Leading and coordinating the activities of INX On-Site Technicians
  • Training all INX On-Site Technicians on operational protocols to ensure compliance
  • Providing ongoing operational support and conducting quality audits

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Strong verbal, written, reading comprehension, and mathematical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in the ink industry, with 1 to 3 years in a supervisory capacity
  • Ability to perform technical services and effectively match colors, passing a color vision assessment
  • Experience in manufacturing ink batches under 100 lbs
  • Capability to conduct Quality Control on both incoming and on-site ink batches
  • Responsibility for inventory management, record-keeping, and maintaining a clean workspace

Preferred Qualifications:

While not mandatory, the following qualifications will be considered advantageous:

  • A college degree
  • Prior experience in a lab, on-site, or warehouse environment
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Familiarity with SAP systems
