About the Role:
The ideal candidate will possess strong sales, interpersonal, and organizational skills. They should be comfortable with multitasking and be able to budget their resources in order to meet the assigned quotas for their role.
Responsibilities:
The Sales Development Representative will join a team that sells office equipment to local clients in the Houston area. They will be given a geographical territory within Houston that they are responsible for capitalizing on through business development, research, cold calling, creating relationships, and identifying new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
- Build and maintain relationships with existing clients to increase sales and revenue
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research and cold calling
- Collaborate with the sales team to share best practices and stay up-to-date on industry trends
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and retention
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years of experience in sales or account management
- Strong professionalism and communication skills
- Experience with cold calling, business development, and relationship-building
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
