Service Project Executive

At McKinstry, we're innovating the waste and climate harm out of the built environment and creating lasting impact. We're seeking a skilled Project Executive to join our Service team in Seattle, WA.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience. Three years of project management experience in construction is required, with five years preferred.

The Project Executive will develop and manage Service projects and complex repairs, using appropriate strategies and tactics to meet assigned goals and objectives. Responsibilities include:

  • Managing a sales pipeline to meet or exceed individually assigned yearly projects revenue and gross margin goals.
  • Providing support to the customer with regards to project financials, contractual, and technical issues.
  • Working with a large client base, including owner and business leaders for the company.
  • Taking ownership of projects as assigned by Manager.
  • Performing oversight on all activities, project functions, and resources needed.
  • Serving as a primary point of contact with the customer during the project's implementation.
  • Assuming financial responsibility for the projects, including accurate, timely, and salient reporting to stakeholders.
  • Acting as a steward of all company policies and procedures.
  • Responding to stakeholders with accurate and timely information to facilitate company decision-making.
  • Exercising global decision-making by considering other departments within the company.
  • Assessing site safety and implementing actions to prevent injury to property and personnel.
  • Ensuring safety compliance of subcontractors and all on-site personnel.
  • Facilitating timely invoice processing for clients and timely processing of payments for subcontractors.
  • Taking responsibility for the development and implementation of a comprehensive construction plan.
  • Reviewing subcontractor billing.
  • Drafting subcontracts and purchase agreements.
  • Preparing client and subcontractor change orders.
  • Preparing monthly project accounting review.

Requirements include advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, proficiency with scheduling/resource management software, and working knowledge of SharePoint. Knowledge of applicable codes, equipment selection procedures, and construction financial programs and software is also required.
