Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Desk Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing incoming referrals, coordinating patient visits, and supporting the healthcare team. If you have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities- Process incoming referrals and coordinate patient visits
- Prepare patients for examinations and complete pre-examination record information
- Manage the flow of patient materials and obtain or verify patient demographics and medical insurance information
- Schedule and reschedule tests and consults requests
- Perform related administrative duties, such as processing ABN forms and insurance verification
- Communicate with patients, families, social workers, and referral sources
- Track and follow up on referrals
- Request records and perform other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of two years' customer service experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Flexibility to adjust work schedules as needed
