Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide proactive leadership in quality management for production, work transfers, and new development initiatives.
2. Spearhead the implementation of the Parker Zero Defect Process, guiding suppliers in the creation of AS9145 compliant PPAP documentation, including FMEAs, control plans, and measurement systems analyses (MSAs).
3. Review and endorse supplier-generated process documentation to ensure compliance with quality standards.
4. Collaborate with suppliers to enhance PPAP capabilities and the quality of submissions.
5. Monitor supplier performance and initiate improvement strategies for incoming materials and components, particularly for high-risk suppliers.
6. Manage Material Review Board (MRB) activities to address nonconforming products and lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives.
7. Drive continuous quality improvement efforts in collaboration with suppliers.
8. Engage in product development activities to assess engineering changes and manufacturing processes concerning product quality.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a closely related technical discipline.
- Preferred certifications: ASQ Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or CQE.
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in quality engineering within the Aerospace or Automotive sectors.
- Proficient in PPAP or APQP documentation processes, with a strong understanding of advanced quality tools such as SPC, PFMEA, and Control Plans.
- Familiarity with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (ANSI Y14.5) for interpreting manufacturing specifications.
- Experience with various manufacturing components, including machined parts, castings, and electronic assemblies.
- Strong problem-solving skills utilizing methodologies such as 8D and Six Sigma.
- Knowledge of Aerospace industry standards and customer quality requirements, including AS9100.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with strong project management capabilities.
