Role Summary

The Construction Manager I is responsible for overseeing all civil works and ensuring financial control through effective scheduling, quality management, and adherence to established standards. This role requires collaboration with service providers to maintain compliance with both federal and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and control project charges in alignment with the approved site design.
  • Ensure that only approved materials are utilized throughout the project.
  • Enforce adherence to civil works guidelines and schedules.
  • Participate in coordination and progress meetings.
  • Supervise on-site activities, particularly in high-risk areas affecting customer performance.
  • Conduct safety inspections and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Resolve civil works issues as they arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate site activities to ensure all disciplines are aligned with project objectives.
  • Drive project schedules and troubleshoot any issues that may impact timelines.
Quality Assurance

Ensure that all service providers and vendors meet technical specifications and quality standards. Maintain compliance with safety guidelines and construction procedures throughout the project.

Performance Evaluation
  • Conduct site pre-inspections and coordinate post-construction audits.
  • Perform visual inspections to assess quality on-site.
  • Prepare regular progress reports for project management.
  • Provide technical support to service providers and suppliers involved in civil works.
  • Reject any materials that do not meet project specifications.
  • Monitor and report on-site performance and quality issues.
  • Ensure proper interpretation and compliance with civil design plans.
  • Lead and coordinate efforts with service providers and other disciplines involved in the project.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in project builds.
  • Ability to identify and solve defined problems using established procedures.
  • Understanding of the importance of continuous improvement.
  • Willingness to work under supervision within set frameworks and timelines.
