Position Title: Construction Manager I

Contract Duration: 18+ Months

Role Summary:

The Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing all Civil Works and ensuring financial oversight through effective Scheduling, SP/ASP, and Quality Management for assigned projects. This role requires strict adherence to Client standards, processes, and procedures, alongside compliance with Federal and Local regulations. The Construction Manager will identify opportunities for continuous improvement and maintain effective communication with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and manage costs in alignment with the approved site design.
  • Ensure that only approved materials are utilized in the project.
  • Enforce adherence to Civil Works guidelines and timelines.
  • Participate in coordination and progress meetings.
  • Provide on-site supervision, particularly in high-risk areas affecting customer performance.
  • Conduct safety inspections and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Address Civil Works challenges as they arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate site activities to ensure all disciplines are aligned with project objectives.
  • Drive project schedules and troubleshoot issues as necessary.
  • Verify that all Service Providers and vendors meet technical specifications.
  • Ensure quality workmanship in accordance with Client standards and expectations.
  • Enforce safety guidelines and construction procedures throughout the Civil Works phase.
  • Conduct site pre-inspections and coordinate post-construction evaluations.
  • Prepare regular progress reports for project management.
  • Provide technical support to Service Providers and other associated suppliers.
  • Reject incorrect material deliveries and report performance issues.
  • Interpret and ensure compliance with civil design plans.
  • Supervise and coordinate work with Service Providers and other involved disciplines.
  • Lead teams with a focus on quality and outcomes.
  • Manage claims, order materials, and maintain construction documentation.

Experience and Qualifications:

Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in project builds involving over 100 sites. This position reports to the CM3 (Lead) or IM Lead.
