Job Overview

Salary:
Educology Solutions is in search of a Financial Operations Supervisor to oversee essential functions related to our financial management services. The primary role of this position is to ensure the effective management of daily operations concerning the Financial Services sector. This includes providing strategic guidance and oversight on administrative tasks linked to a diverse range of mandated activities, assignments, services, and special initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently address Accounts Payable challenges while collaborating with employees and management, making informed decisions based on expertise in Accounts Payable, General Accounting, and relevant Procurement and Finance regulations.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the organization's Accounts Payable policies and procedures.
  • Supervise team members within the Accounts Payable division.
  • Resolve Billing and Collection challenges independently, engaging with various levels of staff and management, and making complex decisions based on knowledge of Accounts Receivable, General Accounting, and bank reconciliation processes.
  • Act as the SME for the organization's Accounts Receivable policies and procedures.
  • Oversee employees assigned to the Accounts Receivable division.
  • Facilitate and lead meetings to foster collaborative relationships that support the implementation of changes and recommendations related to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes and policies.
  • Conduct thorough research utilizing a variety of databases and applications, including Oracle eBusiness, Business Intelligence (BI) Tools, Microsoft Access, online banking, payment portals, and various State and Federal databases pertinent to Accounts Payable processing.
  • Assist the Administrative Services Manager in documenting processes, policies, and procedures related to financial programs, while recommending necessary improvements to ensure accuracy in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable operations and robust internal controls.
  • Independently plan and execute all operational aspects of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Programs, keeping management informed of program status, achievements, and any significant issues or implications of decisions made.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in Finance, Governmental Accounting, or Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable operations.
  • Proficiency in Oracle eBusiness Suite r12 or higher, Microsoft Access, and tier 1 ERP systems.
