Competitive Salary - This role offers an anticipated first-year annual salary ranging from $58,000 to $61,000, with an average workweek of 40-43 hours.

Responsibilities

Beginning as a Financial Operations Specialist, you will implement accounting practices and principles that contribute to the preparation of financial statements and analysis.

- Prepare financial statements

- Conduct branch audit assessments

- Compile bank reconciliations and account schedules

- Create journal entries, expense accruals, and allocations

- Engage in a timely and accurate month-end closing process

- Assist team members with inquiries regarding accounting policies and procedures

- Analyze fluctuations in income statements

- Propose process enhancements and cost-saving measures

- Manage financial records and assist in financial reporting

- Support budgeting and forecasting efforts

- Conduct audits and ensure compliance

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams

- May oversee travel and expense reports, coding, account classifications, and reimbursement amounts

- May handle preparation of sales and other tax returns

Qualifications

- Must be at least 18 years of age.

- Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

- Must have a minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience within the last 6 years (relevant experience includes customer service, administrative roles, accounting, or leadership positions).

- Must demonstrate basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

- Flexibility for career advancement, which may include relocation outside the local area/state (preferred).


- Must pass a background check, including driving record (no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years, and no DUI or DWI in the last 3 years), employment references, education verification, and social security.

- Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring work authorization sponsorship for this position now or in the future.
